My dad passed away last year and I had to sell his house in Crystal River Florida. I live in California and relied on my realtor for the name of an auction company to sell his furniture. Before I listed the house I flew back and inventoried all the items I wanted to sell and shipped the rest back to California. The auction company valued the contents around $5000 and will keep 35% of the sales price which was fine by me. I dont live far from Crystal River, I live about 1 1/2 hours NE in Gainesville, I'm not in the furniture business, I buy and sell building materials (cabinets, doors etc.) but i do know some people in the general area that may be able to help.
