The company's first partnership will be bringing Harebrained Schemes's "Crimson" game to iOS and Android devices. Little is known about the title, but we should be able to get our hands on it by the end of the summer. As far as Bungie mobile and/or social development goes...fans will have to satiate their hunger with " Bungie Mobile " which is simply an app that serves as a hub for Bungie news and Halo: Reach Bungie Aerospace is an interesting venture for Bungie. From the scant details of their press release it seems like Bungie is making a move to the publisher side of things. Not a ploy to take down Activision or Electronic Arts, mind you, but to step forward as a leader in the mobile space -- for now.
Bungie is currently focused on their next franchise for Activision, but there's no reason it can't create a satellite company to encourage creativity and an outlet for experimentation much like PopCap is doing with their 4th & Battery label . While Bungie proper focuses on their ten-year obligation to Activision , Aerospace will feed other ideas to possibly incorporate in future projects.
It should be interesting to see how it ultimately pans out as Bungie is coming in rather late into the scene, even as a core-gamer focused company turned mobile aficionado. Epic Games took to mobile gaming in a big way when it released the Chair Entertainment-developed hit, Infinity Blade The App Report focuses on Carlos Macias' ramblings on everything iPhone gaming (and maybe other mobile things outside of Apple's influence).
