Only in America is there talk of transcending race. It smacks not so much of integration but annihiliation. The Asian American and the Native American don't go through this kind of mess. Yet black folks do. In a few years it will be the Latinos under the microscope. Hopefully the powers that be won't airbrush history by minimizing the black struggle, I hope our leaders won't do this either.

Americans don’t have jobs, or because white Americans don’t have jobs? Who were the Presidents (the COMPETENT Presidents) who were in office when EVERYONE who wanted to work had a job? I have a job right now. There are many others –in fact, MOST others have a job. Those who don’t have a job right now, that’s President Obama’s fault, because he’s incompetent??? Or maybe that’s not why you wrote that some people have an issue with his policies and his incompetency. His incompetence??? President Obama undertook a healthcare overhaul that virtually every President since the 40s has said was needed. HE is NOT MERELY THE FIRST; he is THE ONLY President to implement it. He faced down the opposition, the LIES, the deceit and the backstabbing, to make HEALTH CARE for ALL Americans the law of land, but he’s SUPPOSEDLY incompetent.
