Urban scavenger hunt by bicycle race that requires participants to visit exciting checkpoint locations around town and perform strange feats to earn points. Get closer to nature this weekend during the Garden of Hope Tours. 10 a.m.-4 p.m., Garden of Hope, 699 Edgecliff Road, Covington. View the exact replica of Jesus' tomb, the Nazareth' copy of a carpenter shop, the copy of a 1620 Mexican Mission Chapel and other artifacts. Wear comfortable shoes. Dress for weather. Head downtown for the Toyota Movie Night, Koorsen's Fourth of July Bash & Fireworks. Fountain Square, Fifth and Vine streets, Downtown. Kings Island questions.

Our end of August trip probably will include Kings Island. Being that I get on and off the boat near there I usually have a season pass and visit the park on my way home from work. My kids have never been there and they want to go this August. So my questions are where can I get coupons for discount tickets and is The Kings Island Resort hotel a good place to stay at?

The guys who are coming to relieve us next Thursday live in that area. One lives in Dayton and the other guy lives in Louisville. I'll give them a call and see if they'll stop by Kroger's. The reason I asked about the resort is that they offer 2 free tickets in one of their packages, and additional discount tickets at $31.99. I'm just trying to figure out which is the cheapest way to go. I've been doing this river boat job for 15 years, so I've been to KI countless times. I just never made a special trip from home to KI.
