Conflict in Bosnia and Kosovo

The present study examines two episodes in which the U.S., EU, and NATO responded, if hesitantly, to internal crisis with military intervention and assistance.  It describes the problems that precipitated the local crisis, the initial failure to respond, why and how intervention eventually ocurred, and its results.
